Descriptive Text


Descriptive text is the text that explains something in a particular way.

The Generic Sturcture

1. Identification
    Is a part of the text that explain about the thing that you want to described.
2. Description
    Is the last part of descriptive text that describe the physical appearance and characteristic of the object in particular way.


The Language Features
Descriptive text always using present tense and using adjective too.

The Difference between descriptive text and report text

The differences :
Descriptive Text :
·         A text that explain something in a particular way.
·         The Generic Structure : Identification, Description.

Report Text :
·         A text that only explain general things.
·         The Generic Structure : General Classification, Description.


Purpose : To describe something.
